FOUNDER
JOHN MCINTYRE
A University of Missouri alumnus, John pursued a professional career that included time with the Detroit Pistons organization before playing nine seasons overseas. During his playing years, he experienced both the financial opportunity and uncertainty that comes with short-term contracts and unpredictable income.
After witnessing teammates and peers struggle financially after retirement, John founded MAXGLP to provide athletes and high-income professionals with smarter financial protection strategies focused on long-term stability, not short-term speculation.
John also serves as Executive Director of Slam Dunk Cancer, a nonprofit supporting families impacted by cancer, allowing him to combine financial education with community service and social impact.
